Spring is here, and the cactus flowers will soon be in bloom. Join “Cactus Man” Don Campbell for a PowerPoint presentation and learn how to identify a variety of cacti, succulents, and other desert plants. After the presentation, Don will answer questions, then the group will head out to the native garden in front of the visitor center to take a look at the native plants. What: Cactus Talk and PowerPoint Presentation. When: Saturday, April 18 at 11 AM or Tuesday, April 21 at 2 PM. Where: Colorado National Monument Visitor Center Auditorium. Open to: Everyone. Cost: Admission to enter Colorado National Monument is $10 per vehicle – free to passholders. Admission to the Cactus Talk program is free to members of the Colorado National Monument Association, $5 each for non-members. ($12 for families.)
