Goodbye to seasonal staff, Hello to 2015 Calendar

It’s October. The changing colors of the leaves on the cottonwood trees in No Thoroughfare Canyon and the golden stems of rabbit brush remind us the busy summer season is waning. Although tour buses of international visitors or U.S. citizens and school buses transporting area students daily continue to wend their way to the visitor center, soon it will be time to bid goodbye to seasonal sales staff.

Calendars are available online through rimrockshop.com. You can also pick up a calendar or two – or a dozen – at Colorado National Monument Visitor Center. They make great gifts. The visitor center is open seven days a week, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Many Fruita and Grand Junction area business also carry Colorado National Monument Calendars for purchase.
